Portland Farmers Market   Deering Oaks Park — Wed & Sat, mid-April through late November. Indoor winter market Dec–mid April. SNAP/EBT with 50% match.

South Portland Farmers Market   21 Nelson Rd, South Portland — Saturdays year-round, including winter months.

Saco Farmers Market   4 Scamman St, Saco — Saturdays 8am–12pm, Mother's Day weekend through late October.

Farm stands & CSA shares

CSA enrollment typically opens in late winter — sign up early, as popular farms fill quickly.

Wolf Pine Farm   Alfred, ME — MOFGA certified organic. Summer vegetable and meat CSA shares with Portland and Kittery delivery.

Saco River Farms   Steep Falls — Organic produce, goat dairy (raw milk, cheese, kefir, yogurt), CSA shares, and on-farm market.

Alewive's Brook Farm   83 Old Ocean House Rd, Cape Elizabeth — Sustainably grown produce, eggs, pumpkins. Mon–Sat.

Fresh Start Farms   15+ pickup locations across Southern Maine. Organic produce grown by new Maine farmers. Full and small share options.

Two Toad Farm   Lebanon, ME — Summer vegetable CSA, full or half shares, June–September. Monday on-farm pickup.

Plowshares Community Farm   236 Sebago Lake Rd, Gorham — Eggs, honey, farm animals, seasonal produce.

Local meat

Wolf Pine Farm   Organically raised pigs and chickens. Meat CSA with Portland and Kittery pickup sites.

Maine Meat (MEat)   Kittery, ME — Butcher shop carrying local, pasture-raised meats.

Saco River Farms   Natural foods market stocking beef, lamb, and poultry from trusted local farms.

Local honey

Maine wildflower and blueberry honeys reflect our short, intense growing season. Raw, unfiltered honey retains local pollen.

Harecrest Acres   36 Meetinghouse Rd, Biddeford — Raw wildflower honey from coastal and woodland hives. Beeswax and eggs also available.

Saco River Apiary   Small family apiary on the Saco River — wildflower honey, wax, pollen, and propolis.

Keepers (Portland)   Small-batch, single-source honey from Portland to Brunswick. Beekeeping workshops and hive tours also offered.

The Honey Exchange   Portland — local honey retail and beekeeping supplies.

Portland Food Co-op   290 Congress St, Portland — Member-owned since 2006. Local produce, bulk foods, meat, dairy. Open daily 8am–9pm.

Lois' Natural Marketplace   Scarborough — 30+ years serving greater Portland. Organic foods, supplements, herbs, and local farm products.

New Morning Natural Foods   230 Main St, Biddeford — Open since 1976. Bulk foods and herbs, organic groceries, supplements, lunch café. Mon–Sat.

Rosemont Market   Multiple Portland locations (West End, Munjoy Hill, Brighton Ave, Congress St) plus Falmouth. Local cheese, meat, and produce.
